More road construction, Halloween decorations, and Wilma

Road construction on our road. It has been dark for our walks during the week at 5 am, so I can't take pictures. Today we went out about 10:40. Nice and bright and we got some good pictures.

They "core out" the road by digging out a couple of feet of dirt. Then a layer of landscape fabric, some big gravel, smaller gravel, and then some pavers. the village claims this is cheaper to put in and maintain over asphalt or concrete.

The yellow stuff is old gas pipe.

This HF sign is a long way from home. I ran across it just north of the CVS on N. 2nd St and HarlemRd.

Halloween decorations.

I have noticed this house has been vacant for a long time. Today I noticed this sticker on the front door.

The cemetary finally got around to fixing the fence in our side yard.
