A nice hike. I wish I had gotten there earlier so we could take in some of the trials on the west side of the park as well. I was not sure when the park closed and did not want to get locked in. It turns out I would have had plenty of time. Maybe we will go back.
There are a bunch of trails there, and we only got to hike a few of them. Depending on what part of the GPS you believe it was either 2.82 OR 3.0 miles.

CDC official charged with child molestation and bestiality
A bizarre story. As I understand it, she is/was in charge of getting people to take the flu vaccines.

An official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of bestiality, police said.
The bestiality charge says Lindsey "did unlawfully perform or submit to any sexual act with an animal."

Dr. Kim Lindsey, Supervisory Health Scientist, serves as the Deputy Director for the Laboratory Science Policy and Practice Program Office (LSPPPO) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She serves as second in command of the program office.
