Most times these books are only free for a day or two, so you have to grab them while you can. Worry about whether you really want to read it later if it seems interesting. And be careful, they can change from free to not free at any time.
I have decided to list books for no more than one day to avoid cluttering up the posts, unless there is some reason I think the book deserves extra attention.I have also decided to consolidate to a single post, instead of sometimes splitting them up by subject matter.

Zakhar, Zoe’s father and a veteran of the Soviet-Afghan war, is living out an empty, pointless life in which only hatred and violent reflexes remain.

[#5 - a confusing summary from the author.]
Son of a Gunfighter
Dan Whitton’s father was the most hunted and desperate killer the west had ever known—not hunted by the law, but by the man who had
destroyed his chance of living in peace with the girl he loved.
Now Bob Whitton was dead, and the man who had finally succeeded in having him killed was still alive, fat and prosperous and gloating in his triumph, and already planning a similar fate for Bob Whitton’s son, Dan.
So Dan Whitton strapped on his guns and headed for the wild Cimarron country where his father had spent so much time, hunted by his enemies. Those who were still alive would soon be hunting Dan Whitton.

A Guide to Buying and Selling Peace & Morgan Silver Dollars (U.S. Silver Coin Series)
The rich history of U.S. silver dollars goes back to 1794 with the introduction of the "Flowing Hair" dollar followed by the Draped Bust, Gobrecht and Trade silver dollars. But it is the Peace and Morgan silver dollars that have captured the attention of casual and not-so-casual silver coin investors.
A total of 190,577,000 Peace silver dollars were minted from 1921 to 1935. The three most valuable Peace silver dollars, in the highest circulated grade of About Uncirculated (AU) condition, are the 1934S (San Francisco Mint-total mintage of 1,011,000), the 1928 (Philadelphia Mint-total mintage of just 360,649) and the 1921 High Relief (Philadelphia Mint-total mintage of 1,006,473).
Approximately 570,000,000 Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and another 86,000,000 in 1921. The three most valuable Morgan silver dollars, in the highest circulated grade of About Uncirculated (AU) condition, are the 1893S (the rarest, most valuable San Francisco Morgan dollar-total mintage of just 100,000), the 1889CC (the rarest, most valuable Carson City Morgan dollar-total mintage of just 350,000) and the 1893CC (Carson City Mint-total mintage of 677,000).
You will find useful information like this and other rare, semi-rare and ordinary Peace and Morgan silver dollars complete with total mintage by year and mint, mint mark locations and more.
Also included are sections on cleaning silver coins and coin grading. Understanding the basics of grading becomes important since the grade of a coin is one of the most, if not the most, important factor in establishing the coin's price. To help the reader better understand the various coin grades, a glossary of coin grading terms is included.
Whether you 1) have Peace or Morgan silver dollars in your possession and want help in determining their value; 2) have decided to start investing in silver dollars and want to gain important knowledge before investing; or 3) have decided it is time to ramp up your purchase of these popular 90 percent silver coins - you will find this eBook a most helpful resource you will refer to again and again.

Night of the Assassin (Assassin series)
Night of the Assassin is the gritty, edge-of-your seat prequel to King of Swords - the first book in the bestselling Assassin series. A no-holds-barred, breakneck-paced thriller, Night charts the early years of El Rey - known as the King of Swords - a super-assassin responsible for some of the world's most spectacular and daring executions.
Framed against the backdrop of present-day Mexico's brutal narco-trafficking violence, Night of the Assassin chronicles the making of a monster - a cold-blooded, ruthless killing machine. Raw, disturbing, edgy and unflinching, this epic saga defies convention to create a roller-coaster of intrigue, suspense and thrills that will leave even the most jaded thriller aficionados gasping for breath.

[#99 - the book has been free before a number of times, as have any number of other books by this author. I have not read the book, but it does have a substantial number of good reviews.]
Free From Stackpole.
Stackpole puts a book or two up for free periodically, lately every couple of days. I have read several of their free books. Some interesting stuff. Most of what I have seen is WWII German military history, with varying quality of translation, some other military history from lesser known units, along with some fishing and other outdoors oriented books.
