General notes to free Kindle book posts

From the top 100 free list
As is typical, there are also several religious and recipe books on the list today, along with the usual assortment of romance, porn and near porn. I don't call them out because they don't interest me. Click on the link above and search through the Free List Tab if you are interested in such books.

Panic (A Leopold Blake Mystery / Thriller)
Leopold Blake, expert criminology consultant for the FBI, had his weekend all planned out - and it didn't involve dealing with a murdered senator, a high-profile kidnapping, and at least half a dozen near-death experiences. Three politicians have been murdered in as many weeks, all expertly dispatched, and only Leopold can get to the bottom of it.

Unfortunately, as all hell breaks loose on the streets of New York City, he soon finds himself the next target of a powerful enemy who wants him silenced. Permanently.

Against the backdrop of political corruption and murder, Leopold and his team must fight for their lives to uncover the truth before it's too late. Panic is the first novel in the Leopold Blake series of thrillers, which can be read and enjoyed in any order.

Survival Tips & Tricks 101
In this book I will try to explain some of the ideas behind survival. First, and foremost is the idea that what most people consider surviving, I consider living. Survival is as much about your mind state as it is anything else. For example, people who panic in these type of situations are more likely to get injured or worse. In this book I will explain some of the basic survival tips and some of my favorite unknown tricks. We will explain the importance of being somewhat prepared for your daily life and how this can effect you in a time of survival.

I have spent 38 years studying survival and different cultures survival techniques. I have also learned all about urban survival tools. Urban survival tools normally refers to how something found in our culture today can be used in order to help keep us alive.

In such troubling times there are those prepared for the worst and those who are not. Then there are also are too young to notice what is happening around them. Brian is an average teenager just starting high school in a Pittsburgh suburb he moved to only three years before. Struggling to fit in at school and dealing with his mother--who continues to make wild plans to flee the country--all Brian wants to do is get through another day. But on one seemingly normal Wednesday afternoon at school, the collapse begins, creating a new and dangerous world. Through these unexplained events, Brian will discover that the craziest day of his life is only the beginning...of the end.

Book 2:
In this second installment of the three-part story, trouble has come to an unsuspecting Pittsburgh suburb. In the near future, society has reached its breaking point. A strange and mysterious occurrence follows one seemingly normal Wednesday afternoon that leads to chaos and pandemonium. All power in the town has gone out, vehicles have stopped dead in their tracks, and cell phones aren't functional. Could this be a freak accident or some part of a larger attack on the nation's power grids? Alice, a strong-willed mother of two, races to get her children from school before things get worse. Brian, her son, has fled the high school with his friend, Tobias, as they attempt to get home. And Kiya, her daughter, is trapped in her middle school as the vigilant Principal, Mr. Wright, has sealed the school from outside intruders. Through all of this, the citizens of the town can stand together or they can fall, as a full-fledged collapse is right around the corner.  This is...the end.

Book 3
In this third and final installment of the series, the people of a Pittsburgh suburb must come to grip with their troubling dilemma. Her son,Brian, wants nothing more than to find his friend Tobias.
