Rock Cut State Park Hike 8-18-12

Wilma and I have not been out in the woods since early June. It finally cooled down enough I thought it was safe to take her out. Still, it was 77F, so I kept it to a short hike. We both came out OK. We ran across a lot more people than we normally see - 3 hikers and 3 bikers. One of the hikers we ran across twice as he was looping opposite of the way we were. This is called the multipurpose trail. It has usually been kind of muddy on previous hikes, but only one very small mud puddle this time. Mostly shaded. The trail is in very nice shape.

The multipurpose trail we hiked today is the trail shown in yellow and blue on the park map in the NE corner of the park.

Some video. Not all that much of interest.
