Most times these books are only free for a day or two, so you have to grab them while you can. Worry about whether you really want to read it later if it seems interesting. And be careful, they can change from free to not free at any time. I have also decided to list books for no more than 2 days in a row to avoid cluttering up the posts, unless there is some reason I think the book deserves extra attention.

Doing Bizness: A Nuclear Thriller
Warhead engineer Anton Zvezda goes AWOL in disgust when his strategic nuclear bomber base mutinies against Moscow and declares loyalty to independent Ukraine. His only comfort after the nightmare of the Soviet Union’s collapse is his Russian Orthodox faith. But when a breakaway Ukrainian church brings signs of the Apocalypse and threatens his religion, he puts his warhead skills to work on a terrifying plot.
Getting Kiev a modern tracking system for what is suddenly the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal will help American businessmen Neil Neilson and Dan Kruger keep their jobs. It will also keep the world safe from would-be smugglers -- like the Ukrainian official peddling a secret stash of bomb-grade uranium. But Washington bureaucrats block their efforts at every turn.
Meanwhile, in Kiev, Iraqi spy Tariq abu Bakr is shopping for a Bomb – on pain of death. That is, until the brilliant and beautiful Sveta learns the secret that can thwart his plans and achieve her own ambitions.
The USSR’s demise unleashed a flood of radioactive materiel still at risk for smuggling and diversion. Doing Bizness is about how it began. International intrigue, high-octane sex and a pair of monks on a mission, mix into a radioactive time bomb propelled to a startling, and deadly, conclusion.
Based on true events – both surreal and terrifying -- it really could have happened.
