As is typical, there are also several religious and recipe books on the list today, along with the usual assortment of romance, porn and near porn. I don't call them out because they don't interest me. Click on the link above and search through the Free List Tab if you are interested in such books.

Free Falling (The Irish End Game Series)
When David and Sarah Woodson take a much-needed vacation with their ten-year old son, John, their intention is to find a relaxing, remote spot to take a break from the artificial stimulation of their busy world back in Jacksonville, Florida. What happens within hours of settling in to their rural, rustic little cottage in a far-flung spot on the coast of Ireland is an international incident that leaves the family stranded and dependent on themselves for their survival. Facing starvation, as well as looters and opportunists, they learn the hard way the important things in life. Can a family skilled only in modern day suburbia and corporate workplaces learn to survive when the world is flung back a hundred years? When there is no internet, no telephones, no electricity and no cars? And when every person near them is desperate to survive at any cost?

Paleo Probiotics: Fermented Foods for the Paleo Diet (Living Paleo)
This book is a great introduction to probiotic foods for both Paleo and non-Paleo dieters.

Traditionally, the human diet consisted of fresh foods in their natural form, free of harmful chemicals, pesticides and processed flours and sugars. Pretty much every food we ate was packed full of probiotic bacteria that helped balance the bacteria levels in the stomach and small intestines. These probiotic foods don't just promote good gut health, they free up the immune system to dedicate resources to other areas of the body, leaving you healthier and happier as a result.

Probiotic foods are living foods teeming with beneficial bacteria. Your body needs these bacteria to thrive. Fermented foods and beverages are natural sources of probiotic bacteria that can be eaten to resupply the body with the bacteria it needs.

This book is your guide to adding probiotics to the Paleo Diet. The following topics are covered in this helpful handbook:
A brief chapter that lays out the framework for the Paleo diet and why it's a good choice for many people.
What probiotics are and why they're important.
Fermented foods and the lacto-fermentation process.
The basic supplies you need to get started (along with some supplies that aren't required, but will make life easier).
Choosing the right type of container to ferment food in.
Choosing the right weighting system for your container.
Natural salts and sugars that work well for fermenting.
Two methods that can be used to create brine solutions.
What starter cultures are and why some may not conform to the strict Paleo diet.
How to tell when your food is done fermenting.
Storage of fermented foods.
and more...

There are more than 40+ recipes in the book, covering everything from sauerkraut to water kefir. Here's a sampling of some of the delicious recipes you'll find inside.
10 different types of sauerkraut.
Kimchi and kkakdugi.
Dilly beans.
Beet kvass.
Spicy giardiniera.

The End: Postapocalyptic Visions of an Unstoppable Collapse
In the near future, society has reached its breaking point. Even in the U.S. (the last best hope for the world), economic collapse seems unavoidable along with war and civil strife. In such troubling times there are those prepared for the worst and those who are not. Then there are also are too young to notice what is happening around them. Brian is an average teenager just starting high school in a Pittsburgh suburb he moved to only three years before. Struggling to fit in at school and dealing with his mother--who continues to make wild plans to flee the country--all Brian wants to do is get through another day. But on one seemingly normal Wednesday afternoon at school, the collapse begins, creating a new and dangerous world. Through these unexplained events, Brian will discover that the craziest day of his life is only the beginning...of the end.

Free From Stackpole.
Stackpole puts a book or two up for free periodically, lately every couple of days.  I have read several of their free books. Some interesting stuff. Most of what I have seen is WWII German military history, with varying quality of translation, some other military history from lesser known units, along with some fishing and other outdoors oriented books.

The Battalion: The Dramatic Story of the 2nd Ranger Battalion in WWII (Stackpole Military History Series)
"Black is the dean of Ranger history."
--Douglas Brinkley, New York Times bestselling author
Follows a legendary unit of American fighting men from D-Day through the end of World War II
The Rangers' actions were depicted in the movie Saving Private Ryan
