2013_02_17 Pecatonica Wetlands Forest Preserve

Wilma and I have been to this FP several times. The last few times it was on the south side of the river. It has been several years since we were on the north side. We mostly hiked the snow mobile trail, with a short detour onto the hiking trail. Lots of ice on the trails made for slow going. Did not see much in the way of critters. A few geese and one squirrel. Did see some deer tracks in the snow on the hiking trail segment we walked.
