PLEASE. Do everyone a favor and write an Amazon review if you end up reading a book (or trying to and giving up in disgust). It does not have to be much. Just tell what you think of the book. By the way, many times I have found the 1 and 2 star reviews on self published works to be far more revealing about the book than the more stellar reviews. Reviewers need gratification too, so if a review is helpful to you, please click on the voting button to indicate it was helpful.
Most times these books are only free for a day or two, so you have to grab them while you can. Worry about whether you really want to read it later if it seems interesting. And be careful, they can change from free to not free at any time. I have also decided to list books for no more than 3 days in a row to avoid cluttering up the posts, unless there is some reason I think the book deserves extra attention.

Natural Homemade Cleaners :The Ultimate Guide - Over 30 Green & Eco Friendly Solutions
Replacing traditional cleaning products with green or natural products has both health and environmental benefits. Natural cleaners contain few or no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs are chemicals in many household products that can cause respiratory problems, headaches and dizziness from short-term exposure. Long-term use may cause liver, respiratory and reproductive problems including cancer. Green cleaning products are also less harmful to the air and water. When you factor in the wasteful packaging and inflated price of commercially marketed cleansers, creating your own homemade cleaning products just makes sense. Green cleaning powerhouses such as vinegar, baking soda and borax are inexpensive and easy to come by. We have collected over 30 of the most popular natural homemade cleaners from around the world. Enjoy!
[#30. Two 5-star reviews. What I suspect you will be getting is a rehash of stuff readily available on the Internet. But, it is free, so might as well take a look.]
Free From Stackpole.
Stackpole seems to put a book or two up for free periodically. I have read several of their free books. Some interesting stuff. Most of what I have seen is WWII German military history, with varying quality of translation, some other military history from lesser known units, along with some fishing books.
An Angler's Astoria: 2nd Edition
Praise for the first edition
"Hughes' thesis seems to be that angling is a rare pleasure to be shared in print as well as enjoyed in person." --Steve Raymond, Flyfisher
"His views on conservation are especially refreshing with a depth of historical perspective and a clean line of reasoning that will grab your understanding first, then your emotions, unlike much of the standard rhetoric that omits that first step." --John Gierach
"An Angler's Astoria is full of the youthful exuberance of its author and his Pacific Northwest. Among so many books of doleful reminiscence (written by young men), Hughes's stories are oases." --Fly Fisherman
"Like his more formal works, An Angler's Astoria contains many lessons, the kind you come by honestly, if you grow up fishing a place you learn to love--homewaters, or heartwaters as it were--and ultimately become an aquatic entomologist-cum-expert fly fisher." --Seth Norman, California Fly Fisher
New edition of one of the books that launched Dave Hughes' career
1st edition published by Frank Amato in 1982
New preface and a substantive, new, unpublished piece, Life Cycles
A reflective, exuberant collection of stories and essays about Hughes' home water near his hometown, Astoria, Oregon
