Most of this paved bike path is located within Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve. It is shown in red on this FPD map. A short segment is located within Kishwaukee River FP as well. It also provides somewhat indirect access to Espensheid FP, and more directly to Oak Ridge FP. There may also be indirect access to Deer Run FP. I have seen it referred to elsewhere as the Blackhawk Springs Bike Path.
I submitted this path to TrailLink back in late May of 2012, but it has yet to appear there. Wilma and I have walked by it during previous hikes in Blackhawk Springs FP
9-18-10 and
4-14-12 but have not actually walked other than a very short segment of it.

They went through a massive web site change about the time I submitted it a second time so it did not get added again, but someone else submitted it some time later and it did get added. I put in a
review of the trail a few days ago that got added.
