2013_04_27 Rock Cut State Park Hike

Wilma and I had a nice hike. it was about 70 degrees F. Great walking weather. We hiked some trails we have been on before and some we have not. We got to poke around some in the far SW corner of the park. Nothing real neat there, but it was someplace we had not been to before.

We parked at the Lions Club Picnic Area parking lot and then basically went south to the trails that mostly parallel Harlem Road going west, and then turned north along Perryville Road, before heading NE across the park. We turned and went east just north of the campgrounds and finished by going around the east end of the lake and back to where we parked.

Lots of grade change made for some serious effort on my part. Wilma found plenty of water to splash around in.

7.2 miles per Base Camp.
