6-30-13 Sugar River Alder Forest Preserve

Wilma and I had a nice hike. I chose this particular forest preserve because I thought it would not be flooded, but one section of trail had a half dozen segments 6 to 8 inches under water that we had to wade through. My jungle boots did OK.

Wilma appreciated the water that she was able to cool off in.

We saw a turkey and lots of wild flowers.
