Free Kindle Books 6-7-13

PLEASE. Do everyone a favor and write an Amazon review if you end up reading a book (or trying to and giving up in disgust). It does not have to be much. Just tell what you think of the book. By the way, most of the time I have found the 1 and 2 star reviews on self published works to be far more revealing about the book than the more stellar reviews.

From the top 100 free list
I did not list any of them since they don't interest me much, but there are several religious oriented books on the list today that some might be interested in. Click on the link above and search through the Free List Tab if you are interested in such books.

The Dead Room
THE DEAD ROOM -- A NO. 1 AMAZON.COM BESTSELLER (US & UK)
A young woman is found, brutally murdered and left on
gruesome display in the "safety" of her own home. The atrocity kicks off
an investigation into a bizarre string of increasingly disturbing
murders, all believed to be perpetrated by someone of unprecedented
savagery and cunning. As the city's panic rises, civil attorney Teddy Mack is thrown headlong
into the grisly homicide case--and into a world of dirty politics and
corrupt justice, where deceptions are as deadly as the killer's twisted
secrets. Now, another woman is about to meet the same horrific fate as
the others. To end a madman's reign, Teddy must enter his maze--a place
of unimaginable terror and shocking revelations.

With his second thriller, L.A. TIMES bestselling author, Robert Ellis, delivers an
explosive read with full-blown characters caught in a world stacked with
twists and turns and an emotional intensity that burns white-hot.

[#5. For the total number of reviews, the number of less stellar reviews suggests a book with some issues.]

Fuzzy Navel - A Thriller (Jack Daniels Mysteries)
[#14. 3rd day. The author is regularly on the list. Based on the review spread the book may not appeal to everyone, not that any book does.]

The Inquiry Agent
London 1841: a city on the edge. Corruption is everywhere. The poor are starving in the streets. The wealthy fear an explosion of anarchy and insurrection.

Amidst the turmoil, a wealthy merchant and his spoiled, beautiful ward hire former Bow Street Runner Jack Brodie to recover incriminating documents from the lawless rogues that robbed them. It is no easy task even for a man with Brodie's criminal connections because an old and vicious enemy has returned from the penal colony of New South Wales seeking vengeance for the slaying of his brother. As Brodie hunts through the thieves dens hidden in the rookeries of Dickensian London, it is only a matter of time before their paths cross and murderous violence ensues.

The Inquiry Agent is a dark detective tale set in the early Victorian period by bestselling author William King.

[#55. Something a little different.]

The Eden Project: Humanity's Last Chance
[#59. 3rd day. Has that "young adult" feel to it. Might be more suitable for young teens than adults.]

Elisha's Bones (A Jack Hawthorne Adventure Book #1)
[#61. 5th day. Mixed reviews, but lots of them. Might be a book that has niche appeal.]

Shot of Tequila
[#72. 4th day. From an author regularly on the list. I got the book for free previously but have not looked at it.]
