2013_03_03 Sportscore One and Forest Preserve Headquarters

Wilma and I have been to both of these places before. We parked in the Elmwood Road parking lot, walked north to the underpass at Bauer parkway, under Bauer Parkway and then took the paved loop around the old quarry at the FP HQ. We had plenty of time so after we had walked around the quarry we took the hiking trail and then went back.

We went the long way and walked around the perimeter of most of Sportscore One. Not all that much in the way of things to see. We did run across a fair number of people including a couple of kids on bikes.

The paths that are part of the Rock River Recreation Path including the loop around the quarry at the FP HQ that we walked on were plowed, but the ones that were just part of Sportscore One were not.
