Most times these books are only free for a day or two, so you have to grab them while you can. Worry about whether you really want to read it later if it seems interesting. And be careful, they can change from free to not free at any time.
From the top 100 free list
As is typical, there are several religious and recipe books on the list today. I don't call them out because they don't interest me. Click on the link above and search through the Free List Tab if you are interested in such books.
No Easy Hope (Surviving the Dead)
Surviving the Dead Volume II: This Shattered Land, now available.
Eric Riordan was once a wealthy man leading a comfortable, easy life. Until one day Gabriel--his oldest friend, a Marine Corps veteran, and a former mercenary--told him how the world was going to end.
He did his best to prepare. He thought he was ready for anything.
He was wrong.
As the dead rise up to devour the living, one man finds himself struggling to survive in the ruins of a shattered world. Alone, isolated, and facing starvation, his only chance is to flee to the Appalachians and join forces with Gabriel. But the journey will not be easy, and along the way his humanity, his will to live, and his very soul will be tested.
This is the beginning. This is his story.

[#14. Was also free back in March. Lots of good reviews. I have not looked at it.]
Endurance - A Novel of Terror
[#15. 2nd day. From an author regularly on the top 100 free list.]
Traveler (Joshua)
[#47. A 3 star reviewer writes I enjoyed the characters and plot twists. It would have received 4 stars but the religious overtones got a bit much. I am not sure just why but a lot of PA thrillers have goofy religious overtones to them. 3rd day.]
IMPOSTER: The Protectors Series - Book One
[#77. 8th day. Was free last month as well. I have not looked at it. Seems pretty far fetched. Might be more of a romance than a thriller. It is about impossible to make those two things work together.]
The Biomass Revolution (The Tisaian Chronicles)
[#85. 3rd day.]
Not on the top 100 free list
Free From Stackpole.
Viking Panzers: The German SS 5th Tank Regiment in the East in World War II
Classic World War II unit history of the 5th SS Panzer Regiment, part of the 5th SS Panzer Division "Viking"
The unique 5th SS Panzer Division was made up largely of volunteers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Belgium
This regiment served on the Eastern Front from 1942 to the end of the war, including action at Kharkov and Warsaw
Draws heavily from the eyewitness testimonies of the 5th's members
First time in English
