The Fringe Worlds (The Human Chronicles - Book One)
The Fringe Worlds will be available for FREE from May 18 through May 22!
Begin the adventure here with Book One of The Human Chronicles Saga -- one of the Best-Selling Sci-Fi Series of 2012.
Adam Cain is an Alien with an Attitude!
After all, how would you feel if you were abducted by aliens and transported into a strange, new universe away from your home, your family -- everything familiar to you? Would it make you happy? Not likely!
Now imagine you're stronger, faster and more coordinated than every alien you encounter. Would you start kicking some ass? Of course you would!
This is the story of Human superiority in the galaxy, a gritty, realistic profile of a young Navy SEAL who doesn't like aliens very much -- and he makes them pay for disrupting his happy life back on Earth!
Here's an excerpt:...Riyad stopped his story and narrowed his eyes at Adam. "You must know by now, my friend, that we Humans have certain advantages over most of the creatures out here. In fact, I understand you bested two Rigorians your first day on Nimor. That is no easy task."
"I didn't pick that fight! They challenged me," Adam said in his defense.
"Oh, I'm not being critical. I'm just pointing out a fact. In the six years I have been out here, I have found creatures who were faster, who were stronger and who were tougher than we are. Some even exhibited remarkable intelligence and coordination. But none combine all these traits into one being like we do. Out here, WE ARE THE SUPERMEN. No, we can't fly, and we can certainly be killed by the weapons they possess, but none of the creatures I've encountered can stand against us in a fair fight."
Synopsis: Four thousand years ago, the Juireans exterminated the Klin race then used their technology to forge a galactic empire known as the Juirean Expansion. Now it's revealed that the Klin still exist -- and are in hiding somewhere in The Fringe Worlds. But more than that, the Klin have begun to use the Humans for some secret purpose, a fact that could bring about the total annihilation of the Human race. But only the Klin know Earth's location, contained in the stolen computer core from a derelict Klin starship. Now Adam must race against the Juireans, as well as the Fringe Pirates, to recover the missing computer core -- and find his way home. Adam could care less about the centuries-long feud between the Juireans and the Klin. All he wants to do is get home. And if a galactic empire stands in his way -- well too bad for them!
Love him or hate him, Adam Cain is about as REAL as it gets.
The Fringe Worlds is the first in a series of books in The Human Chronicles saga. Full of adventure, space battles, galactic empires and exotic locales, it's also laced with humor and an honest realism not often found in science fiction these days.

No Safe Place
Shortly before September 11, 2001, Joe Biden warned, "The question is not if we will be attacked by terrorists, but rather when and where." As Ansar Inshallah's sleeper cells awaken, Americans discover that appearances can be deceiving and the people around them may not be who they seem. Homeland Security Counter-Terrorism Division agent John Anderson and his field partner, Agent Erin Walker of the FBI, are racing against the clock to uncover and bring down Ansar Inshallah. Love Bites (Vampyres of Hollywood)
She’s gorgeous—and only 450! He’s hot. She’s a vampyre movie star. He’s a cop. So what if they’re different species? In more than one way.
"Charming!" --The Romantic Times
“Adrienne has taken a very tired genre and super-injected it with a hyper-charged blast of raw sexual energy. A wild, tense, exciting ride that instantly grabs you by the neck and doesn't let go!" --Rob Zombie, director of The Devil’s Rejects and Halloween
"Love Bites is pure fun from beginning to end." --David Morrell, New York Times bestselling author of Creepers
"A fast, funny, sexy take on Hollywood vampires. Her vampires are not only divine, they're famous!" --Anne Stuart, New York Times bestselling author of Fire and Ice
A witty take on vampyres—and Hollywood. Not to mention love…
Ovsanna Moore is the star of 17 blockbuster horror films, a few not quite so successful, and 3 that went straight to video. She’s also a 450-year-old vampire, whose clan includes Orson Welles and Theda Bara and most of Hollywood’s A-list actors…but not too many people know that.
Peter King is the poster boy for hunky Beverly Hills police detectives. When he detects Ovsanna’s pearly whites are often times bloodied fangs, instead of borrowing his mother’s garlic and holy water, he asks Ovsanna for a date. And a romantic Christmas Eve turns into a holiday of horror. Right through New Year’s.
First the paparazzi, then the werewolves, then the agents, and the rougarou at the Sportsmen’s Lodge--everyone wants a piece of Ovsanna. Literally. And it doesn’t help that Ovsanna’s personal assistant and sometimes lover is using black magick to get rid of Peter.
Ovsanna calls on her clan, the Vampyres of Hollywood, to help her and Peter fight for their lives against a menagerie of supernatural beasts that give John Carpenter’s The Thing a run for its money. Love does more than just bite in this witty, vampire-thriller romance.
Barbeau's “Scream Queen” credentials make her the only author who could combine such a fast-paced, edgy plot with tongue-in-cheek references to the inner workings and vanity of Hollywood. A whirlwind of action, Love Bites is a hilarious and clever take on vampyres--as well as on Hollywood--that readers will never forget.
"The fast and furious final pages will leave fans hoping for a third installment.” --Publishers Weekly
"An engaging, sinister romp.” --Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, creator of the Saint-Germain vampire series

IRAQ WAR 2003: What Really Happened Behind The Political Scenes (The Coyote Report)
