Evil is captured, but will justice prevail?

PRAISE FOR ENEMY IN BLUE: THE TRIAL

"For action, body-count and digging into the underworld of police politics - this is really a great read. However, I think the best asset of the novel is the incredible drawing of the antagonist - the evil Sergeant Shaver really shines." -K.Hall, author of Red Mojo Mama (5/5 stars)

"The race to bring the perpetrator to justice brings the reader to the trial and the exciting climax." -J.Breesmom (4/5 stars)

Season Of The Harvest (Harvest Trilogy, Book 1)
"I was skeptical about this novel. Would I really be able to get drawn in to a story about a band of renegades trying to save the world's food supply? Well, the short answer is yes. I was completely engrossed from the very beginning. Season of the Harvest is smart and funny and wild and frightening and really, really scarily believable." - Reviewer Elizabeth Schulenburg

"This novel is a delicious treat for those who like action and adventure. It is a science fiction novel that is at once contemporary and reminiscent of the great novels that have bejeweled the genre through the years. It is a cautionary tale that will haunt the reader, and invite us all to think twice about the simple decisions we make every day." - Author Dan Moore

"Season of the Harvest was smart, entertaining, and believable. If you enjoy your Sci-fi novels and/or thrillers check this book out and then hang on to the edge of your seat, because that is where you will be perched until you hit the last page!" - Moonlit Dreams

"Hicks tells this story as part X-Files, part CSI and part Jason Bourne. And it works." - The Kudzu Corner

"If you've got a taste for conspiracy theories, then this book is a perfect read. A science fiction fan couldn't ask for anything better. Aliens, action, suspense, even a touch of romance -- Hicks does it all." - The Guilded Quill

[#41. Its been free before - the last time in late March. I downloaded it but never got around to looking at it.]

On the Road: Book Two (Life After War)
[#44. Its second day on the list. I think I gave the first book in the series 1 star. But both books seem to have fans and detractors. I probably won't be wasting my time with this book. But there is very little in the way of good post apocalyptic fiction out there, so maybe people take what they can get.]

Nikola Tesla: Imagination and the Man That Invented the 20th Century
[#71. Its 13th day on the list. This one is definitely not for everyone, but as an electrical engineer, it caught my eye.]

The Mating (Law of the Lycans)

                                                      Hello? Is anyone out there?"

"The End of the world has given us a harsh, merciless existence, where nature tries hard to push mankind to the very brink of extinction. Everything is against us, between us...

"Untold miles of lawless, apocalyptic roads wait for our feet, and the Future, cold and dark, offers little comfort. Without CHANGE, there will be no peace. Only Survivors."

"Set along the lines of The Stand and The Postman, this is a chilling vision of the collapse of all society in the year 2012 and the rebirth of a nation by those who survived. It's so much more than just another fantasy series."  -The Review Shop

[Book 1 of #44 above. Might as well download this one as well. I just could not get into the book and gave it one star. As is often the case with what amounts to this type of fiction, the 1 and 2 star reviews are probably more revealing of the book than the gushing 4 and 5 star reviews. But it is free, and the worst that can happen is you lose a little time and you might even like it.]
